This is a small utility used to gather information and diagnose basic Mastercam-related problems on a user’s system. The program generates a text file that can be sent to Technical Support to help troubleshoot issues.
To use the Inspector Utility:
Click the System Inspector Utility link to save inspector-utility-20200528.zip to your computer.
Extract the contents of the .zip file to your desktop.
Double-click McamInspect.exe.
Choose a Mastercam version from the drop down list.
Click the “Sys Info” button to gather system and Mastercam information.
Click the “Analyze” button to check for licensing problems.
Click the “Create report” button to generate the text report file. It is created in the same location as “McamInspect.exe”.
