Solid
modelling
- Solid fillets are smoother
- Fillet a solid face with one
selection
- Improved shaded visualisation for
highlighting solid faces
- When applying several fillets at a
time, the last fillet can be undone and the filleting
operations continued
- The new rib filleting feature allows
you to replace a face of a solid with a fillet
Surface
modelling
- Create a split surface by spreading out
laterals radially for some portions of the split line and
aligned to principal axes for other portions
- Similarly, when creating extension
surfaces, portions of the surface can be specified to extend
in different directions
- Control how the section is rotated when
creating a surface from two rails
Die wizard
- Complex examples process 2-3 times
faster
- When defining the split surface, you
can use the new split surface options to specify different
directions for the laterals

Wireframe modelling
- New curve fillet creation mode creates a two point
Bezier curve between two wireframe objects
- Create multiple oblique curves with one command· Offset
works with multiple objects
- Inherit the tangency from an existing curve when
creating Bezier curves
- Append multiple wireframe objects to a curve
Models
- NEW_MODEL_MASTER template model has been overhauled to
make updating and maintaining the model much easier
- Drag and drop files into the PowerSHAPE window to import
them
- File Properties dialogue box allows print and save of
its contents via the right mouse button
- Better model compression
