Smooth Links

The previous link moves between offsets were perpendicular straight-line moves. The new form of smooth links between offsets is a significant improvement ensuring no sudden changes of direction. This new technique is ideal for high speed machining and gives the same benefits detailed for raceline machining. 

This new linking control allows the user to force the innermost contours to be machined before the outermost. This avoids small up stands snapping off as they are machined off.

Tails with Curves 

New in version 4.0 are tails with curves. This is another ideal high speed machining technique that reduces acceleration and deceleration by maintaining continuous smooth tool movement.
